Required Training & Certification for Coaches

Required Training & Certifications | FFPLL

All managers, coaches, and volunteers must complete the following four training and certification components as required by Little League and FFPLL safety policies:

Cardiac Arrest Training
Free online training on sudden cardiac arrest recognition and emergency response.
Concussion Safety Training
CDC’s HEADS UP online course on recognizing and managing concussions in youth sports.
Diamond Leader Training
Little League’s official leadership and positive coaching program.
Child Protection Awareness Training
Abuse prevention training required for all volunteers.

Child Protection Awareness Training

All volunteers are required to complete the Abuse Awareness Training course provided by Little League in compliance with Little League’s Child Protection Program.
