Fairfield Pacific Little League

Required Training & Certification for Coaches

Required Training & Certifications | FFPLL

All managers, coaches, and volunteers must complete the following four training and certification components as required by Little League and FFPLL safety policies:

Cardiac Arrest Training
Free online training on sudden cardiac arrest recognition and emergency response.
Concussion Safety Training
CDC’s HEADS UP online course on recognizing and managing concussions in youth sports.
Diamond Leader Training
Little League’s official leadership and positive coaching program.
Child Protection Awareness Training (SafeSport/USA Baseball)
Abuse prevention training required for all volunteers.

If you have questions or need assistance accessing any training, please contact us or reach out to your division coordinator or league safety officer.

Child Protection Awareness Training

All volunteers are required to complete the Abuse Awareness for Adults course provided by USA Baseball in compliance with Little League’s Child Protection Program.

Click here to access the course site, or download the USA Baseball app via the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Click Sign In / Register.
Enter all required information to create or access your account.
From the “Little League – Local Leagues” drop-down menu, select your league and click +Join.
If you already have an account, click your name (top right), go to My Account, then Update My Profile to link to your local league.
Complete the "Abuse Awareness for Adults" course.
Click Education in the main menu.
Select Courses.
Click "Abuse Awareness for Adults" → +Enroll → Go to Course.
Complete the course and save your certificate.
If you’ve already taken the course in the past and need a new certificate, click Restart Course.
To do so: Click your name (top right) → My Account → Courses.
Scroll to Abuse Awareness for Adults and click Restart Course.
After completion, download your certificate.
