Get Involved with FPLL!

Our league runs on the power of volunteers. From the boardroom to the ballfield, every part of Fairfield Pacific Little League is made possible by parents, guardians, and community members who step up to help.

Each spring season, your household pays a volunteer fee and we want you to get it back! Volunteer requirements include eight (8) volunteer hours OR to be registered as a coach, manager, team parent, or board of directors member.

How to earn your eight volunteer hours:

STEP 1: Complete the volunteer application found at the bottom of this page. Each volunteer is required to be background checked.

STEP 2: Complete the required trainings and email the certificates to [email protected].

Volunteer Umpires

We provide training to anyone who loves baseball, and wants to ensure a fun, fair game experience in our league. Email [email protected] for more details + indicate your interest on the form below.

Snack Shack shifts

Work 2-hour shifts in our Snack Shack where we raise money each year to fund field maintenance and player scholarships. Each team is responsible for covering designated shifts. Look out for the assigned shift schedule from your team manager or team parent, or visit the Snack Shack for the volunteer sign-up QR code, available the first week of March. Please note that concessions volunteers are required to complete the volunteer form and Safety Awareness, First Aid Awareness, and Abuse Awareness trainings.

Event-specific volunteering

Watch for special event opportunities like the Easter Egg Hunt, Parents Day, Hit-A-Thon and more.

Scorekeeping

For AA, AAA, and Majors, we provide training to help you feel confident in your role - and you can earn volunteer hours right from the stands watching your child play! Inquire with your team manager on how to volunteer.

Field Maintenance

Groom the field before and after each game and practice by dragging the dirt, prepping or removing bases, and watering the mound, batter’s box and infield dirt to maintain suitable playing conditions. Inquire with your team manager on how to volunteer.
